Is This Me? (2013)
Focusing on themes of identity, self representation, and performativity. As well as keeping in mind modes of female representation, the photographs are self portraits showing different aspects/views gathered by how friends and family members perceive me. The series then re-interprets these ideas to construct a visual of each characteristic/description. This series is an exploration of self, through trying to understand how those close to me interpret or see me.
